The higher the interior, the more an ordinary low door can disrupt its proportions.
Scandinavian allows you to perceive the opening more broadly: as a composition of a door leaf, glass sections and, if necessary, an upper transom.
This way the structure can visually continue upward, maintaining the height of the room and the overall geometry of the interior.
This approach works especially expressively in spaces with high ceilings, large openings and architecturally verified wall lines.

Vertical proportions can visually change the perception of the entire room. Therefore, the height of a structure is not just size. It's part of the design.

The cleaner the design, the more noticeable any inaccuracy will be. Therefore, Scandinavian is not only the drawing of an aluminum profile, but also precise work with the geometry of the opening, hinges, junctions and door movement.

Is it possible to make the door high?
Yes, but the design is calculated for the specific height and geometry of the opening. For some tall solutions, an overhead transom may be used.
Is it possible to make the structure up to the ceiling?
Visually - yes, with a properly designed composition. The specific design solution depends on the ceiling, the height of the opening and the selected system.
Is it only a black profile?
No. The shade of aluminum should be matched to the palette of the project.
Can frosted glass be used?
The degree of transparency and decorativeness of the glass are selected depending on the required privacy and design.
Scandinavian or Pivot?
Scandinavian describes primarily the architectural character and composition of the system. Pivot is a specific scenario of movement around a displaced axis. In some projects these approaches may overlap.
What is needed for the first calculation?
A photograph, approximate dimensions and an understanding of which room needs to be separated are enough.
